We had an hour to spend here - and had a GREAT time. Staff were friendly and informative, the ex-National Guard Armory that houses the museum is wonderful, and there's enough "stuff" in here to keep you busy for 'most of a day. Lots of...More

We had a great time in this museum. We spent most of the morning looking around. Would recommend you include it on your list of things to do when you visit this area. Ladies at the front desk were really nice.

Wonderful museum in a lovely old historic building. Wide variety of exhibits, very well done and very interesting. Natural history, logging, minerals, local history, Native American, wartime (We especially liked the exhibit about the Japanese balloon bombs).

There are some eye-opening Native American historical displays at this museum. Young and old alike will find information about the settling of this area of Oregon and the effect on the native people.

A large array of artifacts and local history. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. There is a nice gift shop on site. I originally visited the museum in the summer of 2016. I highly recommend visiting the museum if you are in the area!

What a great museum. Covers the development of the area with great artifacts. Large enough to give a good understanding but small enough to not be overwhelming! Loved the room dedicated to the musical legacy with recordings! Rocks, Indian story/artifacts, armory, WWII, schools, farming, forestry,...More
