Visited George Rogers Park where we began our walk along the Willamette River. Besides the sports fields and playground there is a lovely picnic area and beach on the Willamette River.

Go here to rent kayaks for paddling on the river. Easy in and out of the river. Interesting history with the foundry and surrounding neighborhoods.

There is something for everyone here. Lovely; well-maintained; clean. There is a little bit of hiking, river-watching, swimming, wading, fun for children and adults, alike. Lovely picnic grounds, as well.

Nice place to get away from the busy streets of Lake Oswego. Even on a rainy day this park is a nice refuge. Great place to walk along the river and enjoy a little of the old Lake Oswego.
