This area is one of the best wild river trips I have ever taken; the beauty is beyond measure. It is an easy kayak river and not too treacherous at least where we kayaked. Go up to Grants Pass or Shady Cove.

The river was beautiful and although the water was low in points, the Jetboat was great! Lots of wildlife, boaters, fishermen, and river homes to see.

This river is worth the trip to see. From the wildlife to the wild rapids it promises adventure. Please be aware this is NOT a swimming river except in a few very specific places. It is mainly used for boating and fishing.

The Rogue River covers a lot of terrain from mountains through valleys into canyons before hitting the ocean. There are incredible places to experience this river at either end, but the middle portion through the valley is pretty non-descript.

I think I fell in love with the Rogue River. Our motel in Shady Cove was situated on it though I didn't have a river room. You see it a lot driving to Crater Lake and then to Medford. We also visited the Barr Creek...More
