About
Located where the Chehalem Mountains converge with Ribbon Ridge, our 122-acre property was acquired in 2005 and first planted in 2006. With an elevation of 350 to 650 feet, this rocky, south-facing hillside is composed of marine sedimentary and volcanic basalt soils. Completely dry-farmed, our 54-acre vineyard consists of five different clones: Wädenswil, Pommard, Dijon 115, Dijon 667, and Dijon 777. Our Tasting Room is open daily from 11 am - 5 pm. Tastings are available daily by appointment.

Had to make reservations. Sat on the patio with a lovely view. Tables were well distanced for comfort. Tasing was $20 PP waived with a $75 wine purchase. We received 6 tastings; self pour from a krafe. They offer small plates of nuts, etc for purchase. Andy our host was delightful and informative of each wine. Plenty of parking. No outside food allowed at this time.

We visited the winery as we were leaving the area. The staff was very nice and helped us to find a place for dinner even on a day when many things were not open. The wine we tasted was also very good along with the views.

Visited during harvest and despite the hectic time of year, got to meet with the winemaker, take a little tour and enjoy the great tasting room, complete with fireplace, comfy chairs and lovely service. Really good wines, from the rosé to excellent Pinot noirs. Nice views, too, though the space was occupied by equipment for harvest. A must-see.

This winery wasn't on our list to visit, we originally intended to go to Trisaetum, but it was so busy when we arrived, we left and drove on to find another. We lost our phone signal and Google maps stopped working, we got lost and ended up at the entrance of this winery. We took a chance and were pleasantly surprised. They have a beautiful tasting room, a really great outdoor area where you can picnic and excellent Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. The wine server gave us a full run-down on the land, the different soils and explained the difference in Pinot characteristics based on whether the grapes are grown in a hot summer or a cool summer. We learned alot! Thanks Colene Clemens! We're going to cellar our wines for a few years and will look back fondly on your beautiful winery in Willamette Valley, when we drink them.

I'd go back for the view. The bucolic setting is truly Tuscan, and Abigail made us feel like family. The wines were clear, concise and cogent. Well scripted, friendly and a bit of opulence, made our first visit to the Will-Lam-Ette Valley very special.

We visited this winery primarily because of the beautiful views. This winery is roughly two years old and I feel like there is some room for improvement. I was a bit torn based on our experience because there were some really great things but I must say I felt a bit ripped off compared to my other winery experiences.
Positive -
*Great views and very peaceful
*Wine was decent
*Girls working there were very nice
Negative -
*Way over priced - Tasting consisted of two Pinot Noir's and a Rose that were ten bucks per person. A bottle of Pinot was $48 or $52. A glass of wine was $15.
*No cheese, crackers or anything to purchase. We were brought 5 crackers after we said we were starving.
*Your car is covered in dust by the time that you get up the gravel road

Not to miss if you are wine tasting in the Williamette Valley! We have done wine tastings all over the world and domestically, and Colene Clemens has wonderful wine in relaxed and beautiful setting... it’s occasionally hard to find all these elements.
Beautiful views and delightful (critically acclaimed) Pinot Noir were accompanied by unpretentious service. Our host was happy to provide a few extra tastes of some other wines that were open that day.
We enjoyed our tasting outside and did not leave empty handed. A great way to end our day.

Colene Clemens was our group's first stop on our tour with Backroads. After several winding roads and curves, we arrived to see this amazing, Italian-esque view of the vineyards. The tasting room was warm & welcoming...they had a fire going when we arrived. For $12/person, you get four pours, one rosé and three Pinot Noirs...collectively, our group preferred the Adriane and the Victoria. Our hosts were informed and gracious, and it was enjoyable to chat with them.
And whatever you do...DON'T miss out on the breathtaking view from their patio. Even with the fog, it was beautiful.

With Mark as our guide, we tasted the 09 Pinot Noir Estate and Reserve on the expansive patio area. The views are as fantastic as the wine. The wines both shared perfume of smoke, underbrush, exotic spices, rose petal, black cherry, and black raspberry. We will give our purchases 2-3 years to fully blossom, and drink it from 2012 to 2020.
A must visit on the wine circuit outside of Portland.

In planning a long weekend touring around the Willamette Valley for 3 couples, Colene Clemens was on our list to visit. We made an appointment ahead, brought a picnic lunch with us, and loved our stop here. Dianna was our hostess and she was awesome. Learning of the family history, and the winery's story added to our experience. The wines are amazing - we especially loved 'Margot' and 'Max'. One of our other criteria for what makes wine touring so enjoyable are finding great views and Colene Clemens is definitely one of the best. The sun came out in just perfect timing for our visit and we have some incredible photos to remember our visit. If you're planning a visit to the Willamette Valley, consier coming in October for the color and making an appointment here - you will not be disappointed.
