No frills experience, we went through the tasting menu with Erin. Nothing jumped out, seemed pretty basic. We had great convo learning about the family run business and sharing silly differences in local animal experiences between NYC (BROOKLYN) and Portland (& surrounding areas). That convo...More

Utopia was one of our last stops for the day and it was just a really welcoming and comfortable spot . . . even though it was pretty busy. I assume that is because its one of the few places opened passed 5pm. It was...More

Another great winery with a great story to go with it that I will leave for you to discover yourself. Enjoyed the very casual relaxed atmosphere, the view and the conversation. Dan has some very interesting views on winemaking. Quite enjoyed the wines, purchased a...More

We visited Utopia with a group for a tasting spent most of the time talking with Dan, the owner/winemaker who is obviously very knowledgeable and informative but also clearly is passionate about his wine. That part was fun and the wine was very good so...More

I am sorry whenever a guest has anything but the very best wine country experience when they visit us here. I wish that the guest would have mentioned something to me at the time so that I and my daughter would have been given the...More

Winemaker was great and knowledgeable and generous! Worth a purchase of a case or half case to ship home (affordable!). Nice seating outside but too many bees!

Very comfortable! Some wineries tend to over do their presentations, this is not the case at Utopia. As far as wine selection and taste, it is always up to the individual so no opinion rendered. Take the long road to the Ribbon Ridge wine area...More

I can't deny the view is nice, but prices for the wines are really high. Owner was nice enough,We were on a different winery before and the people in that winery didn't recommend Utopia, but we still went , and now I can see why...More

I was a bit surprised when I read this review since no mention of our prices were raised during this reviewer's visit or any visitor for that matter. Using the word "outrageous" to describe our prices would certainly indicate that our prices are somehow unusual...More

While taking a photo of our group around the fire pit, farmer Dan came off the tractor to do our tasting! Lots of awards for this mom and pop winery, excellent wines. Bocce ball court and games outside looks like lots of fun!

We were looking forward to visiting a smaller, family-run winery and talking with the owner, Dan. This visit far exceeded our expectations. I'm a devoted Willamette Valley Pinot Noir lover, and more than a bit picky. Loved each wine we tried. The Pinots were beautiful,...More
