A great business from the start

We found 'Utopia' when they were just opening their new business. They were just starting out with construction underway. In the years since, we have seen Utopia blossom! We have never had anything but a professionalism with that personal family touch. We have since moved, however we get their wine shipped to us. Their Pinot Noir is among the best... More

Not as stylish as some wineries Mom, was sitting on the front porch with the springer Spaniels and Dad was serving tastings in a wooden house. Only four wines; one white and three reds. Very good wine, all award winners. The nicest thing was the two Bocce ball courts you could use to play a couple of games to break... More

Stopped in here mainly because of the name (then did some research). So glad we did. Dan is a chemist by education. So he explained the different processes to us that went into each year (2013 was a tough year for winemalera in the region). This is truly his love and passion. He did his career in Silicon Valley and... More

We stopped by Utopia Vineyard on a Saturday morning to talk with Dan Warnshuis, the Winemaker and owner about his experimentation with GSM blends - in the land of Pinot Noir! Dan, an expert in vinification of Pinot, has traded grapes with a buddy winemaker and is experimenting with Grenache and its classic blend with Syrah and Mourvedre. Along the... More

You can't compare this wine! We love wine and this is a must see! Beautiful venue! Pictures do it no justice. Dan was an amazing host and a plethora of knowledge. The Chardonnay they produce will blow your taste buds into next week. Your not the number one rated winery in Oregon by making bad wine. Can't say enough good... More

We had a wonderful stop here on a not so wonderful day. Our kids loved the bocce courts and it was great to have some fun and stretch after long drives. The folks here are friendly and knowledgeable and beyond enjoying their wonderful wines, they recommended other great places to go. We've done a lot of tastings, and this is... More

This was a fun stop on our weekend wine tour. The father and daughter were very hospitable on busy Saturday afternoon. They have a great little area outside to enjoy your favorite selection. The flight tasting (today) was six different wines for $15.00

We went there on a Thursday which was perfect. Not crowded. Small winery but actually that's what attracted us here. The owner Daniel was there and educated us about his wine very thoroughly. Love to hear about that from the owners. Wine all around was excellent. The Rose was one of the best Roses I tasted in the Willammette Valley.... More
