Warm, friendly, fun and insightful

Welcoming, fun, beautiful views, awesome wine steward, excellent insights, whats not to like. If this was not our second winery, I would have joined, it took the entire party to rationailize and drink additional embibments before we decided we need to try a few others before joining. BUT, really Katie was so awesome, she really gave us good information and background and pulled in Jonathon for excellent wisdowms on the history. Katie made it very fun and made us feel at home, Jonathon provides all the extra background knowledge. We had a fantastic time, I would be surpirsed if we are not members soon.

Willamette Valley Wine Country
Nov. 2019
We loved Rex Hill Wine and Vineyards in the Willamette Valley, off the 99. The grounds are beautiful. The tasting room is lovely, too. We enjoyed tasting 6 wines ($15). The Pinot Noirs we exceptional. The staff was super friendly. I would love to visit again!

Bucket list. Worth the wait!

I live in Indiana and discovered this Pinot Noir more than 10 years ago. I’ve been waiting to visit this winery a long time. It did not disappoint. Beautiful grounds and views, great tasting room. If you buy a case you can sample many reserve wines. Spectacular.

This place is a gem.

Rex Hill is by far the best winery I’ve visited in the Willamette Valley. With biodynamic practices and amazing staff, this place should be on your short list. They even had beer for a friend traveling with us who wasn’t as interested in wine as the rest of us. We joined their wine club and have been back for all of the events possible. Highly recommend this wine!

Wine Tasting
Jul. 2019 • Friends
RHV is the epitome of why I like to venture out while traveling for work. As a recommendation, my friend and I visited RHV thinking it would be another winery with decent wines and good way to spend some down time. When we walked into the tasting room it was set in an old cellar like room with a round table in the middle. The table was set with dozens of glasses filled with an array of spices and herbs to smell. As odd as it sounds, it was a pretty neat experience and you could easily correlate the scents to the wines. Now to the good stuff...wine. RHV has two tasting menus, an "every day" list of wines and a "reserve" list. The "every day" list is $15-$20 for about six wines and the reserve is $30 for three (I think) wines. You can tell how much I "sampled" by the fogginess of the details I remember. They also have some munchies and a nice charcuterie board for purchase too. I cannot speak highly enough about some of their Pinot Noirs. They have some very complex wines at both higher end prices ($328 for a magnum bottle of their 2000 PN) and some more affordable prices ($~50 for a 2018 PN). The 2000 PN we sampled was probably one of the best wines I've ever tasted. I bought several bottles of the newer vintage in hopes it'll age as well as what we sampled. I am a RHW fan, for sure!

Beautiful tasting space and fantastic wine

Visited here as the first stop on our tastings. Friendly and welcoming staff with extensive knowledge of their beautiful wines. Had to purchase Rose that was recently released. They have small bites and picnic space to enjoy a glass or bottle of wine.

Great winery to start your day!

Second visit to this winery because we had such a great experience the last time we were here. It was fantastic, Highly Recommend! The staff is knowledgeable & goes out of their way to give you a great wine tasting experience (Whitney is amazing!). Flight tasting fees are $15 (current release) & $30 (reserve) depending on what wines you would like to try. All the wines are delicious & affordable. I ended up buying the 2016 Willamette Pinot Noir, it was fantastic. They have indoor & outdoor seating. They also open at 10 am which is great if you want to get an early start on wine tasting. I highly recommend this winery as your first stop of the day!

joined their club. The lineup of wines is great. Plus, they are so welcoming and have events there. Easily some of the best values in the Valley. Bought 3 cases to serve at a big party I hosted. Always a favorite

wonderful follow through
Nov. 2018 • Couples
We visited this winery in November, our experience with the hostess was not pleasant, although the wine was excellent. We purchased two bottles of Pinot, when we got home, in Oklahoma, and went to open one of the bottles, it was a Chardonnay. Clearly the hostess was having a bad day when we had gone in. I did order some more online, because like I said the wine is wonderful, and had the pleasure of talking to Kasi. I explained my experience with the hostess and the mix up on the bottle of wine. Kasi did inform me that the hostess that took care of us was no longer employed with them, and was very apologetic for our experience and informed me that the owners of Rex Hill winery want their guest to have pleasant experience. She mailed out the correct bottle of wine I had originally wanted without any problems. I can say this sincerely that this winery does care about their customers and will do what they can in their power to make things right. Thanks again for wonderful wine.....

Impressive and Fine Wines
Nov. 2018
We went there just before Thanksgiving. Great wine and the snacks were a special touch. There is space to enjoy the outdoors in good weather. The prices are sort of high, but not for the area.
