Ripley’s is always an experience, regardless of the town you see it in! The one here in Newport, OR is organized especially well, lots of wacky exhibits and odd trivia. Go in with an open mind and just have fun in all the silliness.
Kind of expensive for those looking for a quick look but if you have the time to read all the descriptions, play with the interactive exhibits and use the MANY photo ops sprinkled throughout, worth the price of admission.

I grudgingly went here with my 13 year old son thinking it was just another tourist trap. However, I have to say it was a fun time. It took about 45 minutes to get through and it was modern and well renovated. It costs about $20 a person and you can add the wax museum for another $5. The wax museum was equally as impressive. I had a $5 discount so it cost about $65 for myself, wife and son to do the two sections. Not to bad for and hour and a half of fun.

Due to Covid they are to space groups going in , this didn't happen everyone would be waiting in an attraction while they were shoving more people in. This in turn made it hard to enjoy and experience the whole thing. People would get upset and ask you to continue to move and would let you read anything there are a lot of new attractions to see and enjoy but when your rushed there really isn't a point in coming to enjoy time with your family

I have very fond memories of this from the trips we took here when I was a boy and was excited to share this with my son. It has changed over the years but is still the quirky and fun museum I was so fond of. There were several exhibits my son loved. We had a fun visit.

Ripley's Newport is a wonderfully classic Ripley's attraction. If you are a fan, you know what you are getting. If you are not, you will get a variety of interactive exhibits, strange art, unusual animals, local lore, and historic oddities. This one has a more classic feel - like something you'd find at Ripley's museums in the 90s. It does not have as many flashy displays as you would see in big cities. That is completely ok with me as it is fun to see the variation across attractions. You should definitely add the quirky wax museum on as a small upcharge to your ticket. It will take you a couple of hours to work through both attractions. As a lover of roadside attractions, it is great to see a Ripley's on the Oregon Coast, which is fairly sparse on classic roadside attractions.

It's older and a bit dated now. Expensive to see all that is offered and doesn't take long to go through. Reading is a huge deal here and some displays cheesy. Kids might find it fun but the older adult may think it's a waste of money.

They've adjusted well to the pandemic. There is hand sanitizer and gloves everywhere and it was still fun to see everything. I liked posing with the world's tallest man and Groot. There was also a mock oval office where you could pose as President. I went to the wax museum next door and liked the Big Foot exhibit and the haunted house. If you go to Ripley's, you might as well do the wax museum next door!

Not sure what the big deal is. Somewhat interesting but felt like we were at a carnival side show. It's expensive too. Would rather spend my time at the beach, visiting tide pool, kayaking, going to the many parks . . . .

This may sound like a cheesy tourist trap but it is really a very fun way to spend a few hours, especially with children. There are many unique, interesting and fun things to see and do inside. We've visited here many times and always enjoy it.

Definitely lots of strange stuff here. The kids weren't real fond of some parts but really enjoyed others. Some things just didn't peak their interest. I purchased the 3 attraction pass for 4 people on groupon for Ripley's, The Wax Museum and Undersea Gardens for $40 so it was reasonably priced entertainment. Regular price was roughly $25 for an adult and $15 for youth.

Hi my grandfather has a hard time walking, do you have a wheelchair available while we visit?
Written April 4, 2019
I would not suggest this attraction to anyone wheelchair bound, they do not offer wheelchairs and, as was said there are tight sections and ups and downs that would make it hard to navigate.

Trying to plan a trip for the family having a hard time finding prices for children for Ripleys believe it or not, undersea gardens and was works. Any info would be extremely helpful as they don't have much info online.

Written February 10, 2017
Ripley's is part of Mariner Square. There are 3 attractions in Mariner Square. The adult price for a single attraction is $14.99 or you can visit all 3 for $24.99.

What is the total tour time for all three attractions: Ripleys, wax works, and undersea garden
Written June 22, 2016
Each Attraction for a reasonable visit will take less than 1 hour, I would say Ripples has the most interest and a little more than an hour if you read the information ...
