    Quirky Wax Museum
Wax Works is exactly the type of wax museum I enjoy. It is not the polished and boring Madame Tussaud variety that you find in big cities. Instead it is a quirky, uneven, and sometimes inaccurate curiosity that you see in smaller tourist meccas. While they do have a number of newer exhibits, they also have plenty of quirky classics like a chamber of horrors, bigfoot, DB Cooper, and Star Wars. Combined with Ripley's this is a no brainer must visit for all roadside attraction lovers. My only wish is that it was a little longer. Check it out and enjoy the funky atmosphere.

Good as far as it goes.
Definitely not worth the price except as a low-cost add-on to visiting Ripley's. What they have is interesting, but there was not enough of it. We spent a little over 2 hours at Ripley's; it took us 30 minutes to see what there was to see at the Wax Works. We were moving along at the same pace as the families around us with small children so it was not just because we were a couple..

    Awesome, but once is enough.
Me and my now fiance both enjoy the coast. We went on our first day over 2 years ago now. We paid the pricey price. Went to all 3 of the attractions and this one is one we will probably never go to again. Once is enough, it's kind of freaky and thats coming from 2 adults. Nothing ever seems to change as i went there when i was in fourth grade and everything when i went was the same. My favorite part is the shop, we got a wax hand made and it still stands strong in our living room with the date we visited. The lady was awesome and it was a good experience I highly suggest getting a wax hand made. Ours is our hands together. :)

This was a lot of fun. There were several cool exhibits and well made wax figures. While it is not on a level with Madame Tussaud’s for quality or detail it is still really fun with a lot of unique and creative exhibits.

Lots of newer displays. The entire area was very clean. Buying a joint ticket with Ripleys makes it more worth the money. Parking is a premium as this was a very busy area.

Due to Covid they are to space groups going in , this didn't happen everyone would be waiting in an attraction while they were shoving more people in. This in turn made it hard to enjoy and experience the whole thing. People would get upset and ask you to continue to move and would let you read anything there are a lot of new attractions to see and enjoy but when your rushed there really isn't a point in coming to enjoy time with your family

I have put it as 3 stars until I've actually be able to see the inside. Ripley's and the wax museum are closed until spring. Wish it was advertised. I have heard good things about this place and will go back to see it when the renovations are done!

It's cool, to an extent. Some of the wax figures are incredibly realistic and some of them are terrible. It's entertaining enough, but there are barely any wax figures, so they play it up with extra props. For actors they have the guy that's Spock from Star Trek, Arnold Schwarzenegger (as Terminator), Mike Meyers (as Austin Powers), and a handful of Star Wars cast members in a scene from one of the movies. They have Batman, Joker, and another villain. They also have a freakishly realistic figure of Johnny Depp that has its own whole section for heaven only knows why. I have to say, whether you like it or not, it IS entertaining. For people who will actually enjoy it and think it's cool, it's best suited for kids 10 and under.

Even if you don't go through the exhibit don't miss the gift shop. Every time we are there my daughter gets a new hand made out of wax, so cool!

There isn't much to see here. It's apparently trying to appeal to tourists, but is a big disappointment. We bought an annual pass as locals, but one run through (emphasis on run) was enough.
