Lots of interesting shops here and very friendly people. We especially enjoyed the Dapper Frog and the ice cream shop but wandered through just about everything and thoroughly enjoyed them all.

Highly recommend this highly accessible stretch of beach. This area is a GREAT setting for young families to build sand castles, body surf, tan, or just soak up sun. Shilo and Elizabeth Street Inn have waterfront view and access. I always stay at the Inn....More

Spent a few hours here Labor Day weekend. Took sunset pictures. Went for ice cream just before 8, and the place was shutting down. Dining choices limited but there are a couple.

Nye beach was a quaint area of Newport that had nice shops and restaurants. We enjoyed fabulous pastries from Panini Bakery then enjoyed a walk on the beach. Definitely a highlight of our trip!
