So glad this lighthouse was restored. It was beautiful and the volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable. Was able to go inside and explore at your own pace

A wonderful area to visit close to the Bayfront, picturesque views of the Yaquina Bay Bridge, great place to walk down to the sand and a beautiful view of the Yaquina Lighthouse in the distance.

We got some great pictures of the lighthouse, bridge, and harbor. We were unable to go into the lighthouse since we got there late in the day.

to 100 years ago when this lighthouse was in full use. It is now restored to look like the home that the lighthouse attendants lived in. It is free with accepted donations. As you climb the brick walkway, your anticipation builds to see the view above and find the little known secrets of the past dwellers. Much history conveyed here... More

Unfortunately, lighthouse was not open (too early) but it's a great photo op for pics of the bridge.

Volunteers run tours and a museum gift shop in the basement. The building has been nicely restored with period antiques. You can't go up to the tower, but it's worth a stop anyway. The building itself is located in a nice park for wandering and picture taking. Nice views of the bay and the bridge too.

The Yaquina Bay Lighthouse is located in the town of Newport. This is a non-functioning ligthhouse. There is ample parking below the house and a short climb up to the house proper. From the parking area and the house are great views of Yaquina Bay bridge and the mouth of the Yaquina river. The building is original and restored. The... More

This lighthouse was one of my favorites down the coast it was a beautiful ride to get to and the time of day we went was late afternoon and it was a cold windy October day. You have to make the stop to see this one

This is the original lighthouse at Yaquina Bay. You can take a tour of the house and hear/read about the interesting history of the lighthouse and its original caretakers.
