This is a very charming little house with the light house. The light house is not accessible to the top, but has a little muesli throughout the house. Stunning views and you can get to the beach from here but it is a little ways.

Run by a volunteer staff, the tour is free but they will accept donations. Good overview of how our government works, as this lighthouse was in service only three years before another was built and this one was placed out of service.

Easy to locate, plenty of parking spaces, right next to the parking lot. This wooden lighthouse is an easy stop for us as we tried to see as many lighthouses as possible on our last road trip. I believe this is the only lighthouse in...More

Don't miss this one on your lighthouse tour of the west coast! It seems there is, or at least should be, so much more to this lighthouse historically speaking. It is VERY old, and by that merit alone, I love it! But the sad fact...More

This lighthouse shows how far sightedness can go. After it was shutdown the town folk got together to save this beautiful place and a fine job they did. Volunteers were very interesting to visit with and this was the easiest one to get to yet....More

It says open daily on their web site but it would be hard to believe that it is open in Christmas. It appears it would be open during the rest of break.
