The staff at the front door welcomed us and we took time to to browse in this MIO outpost on the bay front. All kinds of local items and souvenirs with a good inventory of items.

I was impressed with the unusual selection of wine and the beer infused chocolates that I purchased for my husband.

I hadn't been in here for some time and noticed some changes this visit. For one thing, after an initial "hi" when somebody walked in, the two clerks were far more interested in chatting with each other than in helping customers.
The store has some very nice Myrtlewood items, pottery, soaps & lotions, medium & low priced jewelry, Pendleton blankets and various other "gift" things.
Note - they do sell some items that are made in *China*, not Oregon, but designed by folks who live in Oregon! Thus you'll find T-shirts and magnets and such that are made in China. I didn't look closely, but I bet the 'Ducks' and 'Beavers' items are not made here.
One thing I hadn't seen before was the Sasquatch display. Little vials of "authentic DNA verified" Sasquatch hair? Ha-ha I don't think so ... but it did make me smile :-)
They don't have much in the way of Oregon wines, and even less beer. Go to J.C. Thriftway market for a much better selection. I also noticed that selection of food items was not nearly as large as it used to be, although they do still have some chocolates, jams, seasonings and a bit of Tillamook cheese.
It's still a good place to find items you may not find elsewhere.

Store in downtown Newport Beach, near the harbor and the sea lions. Of course, I needed souvenirs, so I got Oregon hazelnuts, Oregon coffee, a couple of cute tees, and a nice puzzle for a grandchild. Friendly staff and nice quality merchandise.

You can get these products elsewhere. Their customer "service" is appalling.
I used them for the first--and only--time this month, for some very last-minute gifts. First, their 3-day expedited for higher price shipping is misleading. I ordered on the 22nd and received it on the 28th.
I complained and requested that the expedited shipping fee be refunded. They criticized me for not researching their website for their shipping/UPS policy. I said that the shipping limitations (i.e. "orders placed on the 22nd will not arrive until the 28th")) should be on the shopping page, not deep on their website. Again, they criticized me.
I continued to request refund of the expedited shipping costs. They denied it.
And then, the shipment arrived with the WRONG PRODUCT. I contacted them, asking for a refund on that product. While they agreed to that refund, they just had to stick in another criticism: "I am surprised the Blueberry Jam is not a sufficient replacement,"
And then referred me to their page where it says "In select cases, Made in Oregon reserves the right to make substitutions with products of equal or greater value in order to meet your ship date requirements." They *didn't* meet my shipping date requirements so the point is moot, yes?
Horrible. Insulting. Will not use again.

Great place to pick up souvenirs from your Oregon trip. Lots of local food items (jams, jellies, hazelnuts) as well as other Oregon made items. Prices are a little high but this is a souvenir shop.

I will not be buying any products from Made in Oregon. Horrible Customer service, be careful when buying Pendleton Blankets as they will NOT give refunds. I returned the blanket in original packaging with tags and said that they found "hair" on the blanket. I took it out to see the size, it was too large, and did not use the blanket. So now I get to keep a blanket that any other company would have refunded me for. Lost money on shipping and now return shipping plus a $300+ blanket that I do not want. Thanks Made in Oregon. Never buying from this company again.

I looked at this store's website before we went to Oregon and I have to say, I was not impressed. Their website does not show a fraction of the cool items they have. Go to this store! They have your standard fare; magnets, hats, mugs, shirts and whatnot but they have so much more. There's local honey, jellies, candies, wines, candles and such. There are local made lotion and bath gels (I bought mango and lilac scents- silky and nicely scented). They have wood carvings, ornaments, signs and art. They even have Timbers jerseys. There's something for everyone and it would be a good place to pick up a trinket that's uniquely "Oregon" for a friend. We ended up going to 3 of their stores; Portland, Lincoln City and Portland airport. All the locations have pretty much the same merchandise. That was nice for us because every time we went to another of their locations, we ended up buying something that we regretted not buying previously or buying more of something we liked a lot.

Large number of different items to look at. Respectably priced especially compared to many of the other stores along the bay front.

While on a road trip up the Oregon Coast, we stopped in at this little shop to purchase some hazelnut and marionberry items, products Oregon is known for. The clerk was helpful in suggesting some, which we purchased.
