One of the poorest aquarium we ever visited. Only a few fish, most of which were in a school which swam around the aquarium. Water quality was poor. Seemed to be one main tank with the viewing on the inside. Would visit only if a three site ticket bought. (wax works, Ripley's, and undersea garden)

The family and I thought we were looking at the bottom of Yaquina Bay, but after some sleuthing and reading the signs realized it was a tank set at the bottom Yaquina Bay. It does not have access to the open ocean which is why all of the fish are still there. The water is dirty enough that sea-life would... More

I remember going here as a kid and decided to take my kids as a getaway day to the coast. My boys are 14 & 8. You sit on bleacher style benches and watch the show (diver on the outside of the glass and a speaker standing next to the bleachers). The diver held up a crab, then played with... More

This is a straightforward look at the floor of the Newport Bay and its array of crabs, sturgeon and creepy looking wolf eels. The best part is if you time your visit with a show put on by a diver coming down to show off the starfish, anemones and feed some of the local fish. After entering through its gift... More

This was the second time I was there. It was about 15 years between visits. The staff was great and they have a little under water show with a diver which is great to watch. Learned a little and it was great to see the kids faces light up! If you are in Newport, its worth it to stop.

Just an underwater view of the bay bottom with the fish and crabs running around. It's a very good look under the local waters that you'd otherwise need to be a certified diver to see. They have a diver who lectures on the local fish from under the water and is viewed through the windows.

My kids were thrilled to see the life under their sea! It's dirty and dark water, but the habitat is real for the sea life. The diver did a good job and we stayed out of the rain!

I'm glad they included it in the price with the other two places because we spent the least amount of time visiting it. We didn't see the presentation but overheard the other guest saying how informative it was. I'm glad the girl working there did say it was Oregon coast sea creatures so my expectations weren't that of seeing some... More

We bought the combo for Underwater Gardens, Ripleys, and the wax museum. Their was no show, water was so murky, it was dirty and no outstanding fish. So disappointing and a waste.
