I go every year. The family and the farm are delightful. New generation is making thoughtful and smart changes, which hopefully will mean this experience will be available for many generations to come. Great selection, reasonable prices, beautiful drive, other wonderful spots along the way. Make a day of it and you won't be disappointed.

We visited in early to mid October. Good prices on apples and a good selection of varieties. The quality seemed varied. Some apples looked great others fair or past prime. Offer samples of each variety. Lots of kids and families visiting which was fun to see.

This place was by far the most value and best selection we found on the Fruit Loop. They also had killer apple cider caramels. There was a pumpkin patch that was a better value than you'd find nearly anywhere else. We are considering joining the coop because of how wonderful the company seems, value and produce.

These guys always treat you like family. So many new and delicious fruits, snacks juices, honey, flowers! The scenery is fantastic. I love the peaches and u-pick dailies for bouquets. If your on the fruit loop, skip those other tourist traps and come by this lovely family run farm. Support local!

We have been going here for several years and LOVE it! It is family owned and the family is so friendly and caring. And the prices are SO cheap! $1/lb to u-pick apples/peaches/nectarines/pears. Our teenagers even enjoy going and picking and seeing the steer they have and the breathtaking view of Mt.Hood.

Friendly and welcoming. The dried apples were delicious as was the huckleberry jam. I looking forward to their planned expansion and addition of apple cider.

When we planned our trip to the Fruit Loop this year, we took special interest in an offer on the Mt. View Orchards web site: a coupon for "One pound of free Golden Delicious Apples for every 10 miles (one way), you drive from WA or OR with a minimum $15.00 purchase." GREAT! Coming from Tacoma, WA, we were thrilled... More

It took us a little while to find it but my ten year old daughter and I were sure glad we did. The welcome we received from Ruthie the owner was just so wonderful. What a lovely lady. She gave us great info about the area and directions to a great BBQ restaurant in Parkdale. The cherries are delicious and... More

We were there in the pouring rain for their Swiss/German Festival this last weekend. The fruit is excellent with great varieties and fair prices. We didn't find the staff to be incredibly friendly, which is why they are only getting a 4 out of 5. Nothing negative, they just could have been a little more approachable and a little more... More

Great time picking our own fruit. We only wanted a small amount (about one grocery bag full), but we had a great time picking our own. Variety of winter pears, apples, and a few peaches left on the trees all within about 100 yards of the parking area. Most were about 50 cents a pound and up to $1/lb for... More
