Been trying to go here for 4 years!

I have wanted to go here ever since I moved to NE Oregon. Finally made it this last summer and had a blast. What great history that has been collected and saved!

We have visited Pendleton many times over the years but this was the first time at the museum. We were able to go through it in a little over an hour. It was nicely laid out and exhibits very informative. I would recommend it to first time visitors to the area. It is also growing so more exhibits will be... More

Nice place to learn more about Pendleton and the surrounding area and its past. The most interesting exhibit to me was the scale model of the water injection system that takes flood water, filters it, and injects it back into the aquifer.

Pendleton has a long history, and the Museum currently showcases some little known cultures (Basque, Chinese, and Hispanic) that helped build the community. The old train station artifacts are always cool.

My son is a train fanatic so we had to go here. I also loved the historical exhibits inside and outside.

Small town museums can be cloying; not so Heritage Station! It is well maintained, well laid out, and an enjoyable journey through the region's past. Good idea to call ahead for hours of operation.

If you are looking to pass some time or want to learn some interesting facts---this is where it is at! Very informative and fun for the family. Probably not as interesting for the under 4 age group. Overall, a great way to spend and hour or so in Pendleton, OR.

This is the place to immerse yourself in the history of the Oregon Trail and the early settlers of the Umatilla country. From missionaries to farmers the museum does a good job and painting a picture of pioneer life and all of its hardships. This is a must see and is very inexpensive ($3.00) compared to the other local attractions.... More

Lots of interesting facts presented about the history of the Pendleton region and the cultural backgrounds of the original settlers. Displays are rather text-heavy, so either plan for extra time to read or bring a camera to snap shots for later review.
