It is easy to get to the beach. The mountain makes for louder traffic. It is a typical Oregon State Park. One moody ranger but the rest were nice. I will not go back because of an invasion of privacy issue.

The campground is protected from the ocean winds by the hills so it is very comfortable. Large meadow in the center for recreation, path to the beach is only about .25 miles. Super windy on the beach. Humbug mountain trail will take you to the...More

Spent 2 nights camping at Humbug Mountain State Park, the beach views are amazing, the sunset was awesome. The campsite was within 10 minutes walking to the beach. Within 60 miles of some of the best scenic views along the Oregon coast. Magnificent!

While traveling south on the Pacific Coast Highway I stopped at Humbug Mountain State Park. The camping is great and costs about $18 a night to camp. Oregon State Parks are beautiful and meticulously kept. The showers were great.

It was a beautiful afternoon for a hike. What we didn't prepare for how much hiking UP we would be doing! We didn't make it to the top but the hike offered lots of beauty every step of the way. Take your time, take a...More

We recently hiked old 101 at Humbug State Park. They have a Fern walk displaying over 15 different ferns. Great waterfall at the bridge. The ridge has great ocean views near the top.

Our site was about 60 feet from the highway, and a one-foot tall shrub separated us from our neighbor. Yes, clean bathrooms, but you have those at home, don't you. Would not recommend to anyone looking for serenity, nature, or privacy.

This campground was right next to the highway. All night long all you here is Semi-Trucks zooming by and braking. The map is very off, the campsites are all really close together and the tents are mixed in with the loud motor homes. It is...More

I didn't expect a state park in the mountain would be extremely nice, but I was surprised. The park is really clean and bright. Restrooms/bathrooms are super. Campsites were set up around an open field, so we can view the scenario and have the privacy.There...More

This has been our favorite state park in Oregon so far. We had a great family stay with our four-year-old on a recent trip along the Coast. Humbug is nicely tucked away--although you can still hear traffic--and has great shaded tent areas. Firewood is also...More

Yes, school groups could easily hike from the B loop camping area under the Highway 101 bridge out to the shore. Even at high tide, there is plenty of beach and plenty of driftwood up high above the waves. As in all Oregon... More
