Beautiful spot with a beautifully clear little ocean bound stream, tucked in behind the mountain away from the coastal breeze. We camped one night on the way south on the 101. Rv, rent or car camping sites. Hot showers $2

This is wonderful State Park! Whether you're camping alone or with friends - This is a wonderful Park. There are hedges between the camping sites for privacy and large open areas in the middle of the sites for children and adults to play games. Its...More

I did enjoy my 6 mile round trip hike to the summit. The trail was in fair condition, and there were few others on the mountain. But I guess I presumed there would be an amazing view at the top. It was just a small...More

The hike to the top of Humbug mountain and back is a 6 mile wonderland. This was a trail run that I wished could have lasted for years. I didn't see another soul the entire run and felt like I there was more beauty than...More

Just a hint, this park has been a family favorite for over 50 years...first stayed here camping and hiking/swimming when I was a teenager, and have always enjoyed it every time I have visited!

I was not camping, but stopped in here to have a picnic lunch. The campground and day-use areas are separate. The campground is fairly close to the ocean, but the day use area is tucked back behind Humbug Mountain. There are no ocean views and...More

We stopped on a whim, the sun was shining right on the campground on an otherwise rainy day. The campground has a nice mix of power/water sites and tent sites. Can accommodate big rigs. The beach is secluded and really pretty.

It all started with an Australian who didn't know it was a Labor Day long weekend and hadn't booked any camp sites. Yakes! We found Humbug camping and first impressions were positive not just because they had a site available. The campsite is huge with...More

We stayed here for 4 nights in our RV. While it does offer beach access, it sits alongside Hwy 101 so there is a lot of road noise especially from truckers. We also had only sporadic cell reception within the park. The showers were hot...More

Yes, school groups could easily hike from the B loop camping area under the Highway 101 bridge out to the shore. Even at high tide, there is plenty of beach and plenty of driftwood up high above the waves. As in all Oregon... More
