Beautiful, interesting and informative. Short walk to see the station and other short hikes around to check out all the views and different things to see. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy park and scenery

We went here on our vacation. Interest stop enjoy see all the artifacts and hearing the stories. Is a great place to take kids to learn some history.

I walked every trail, read every sign, took lots of pictures, and had a lengthy conversation with a random stranger all in 56 minutes. It is worth the stop. If the museum was open, additional time would need to be alloted. Trails are exceptionally well...More

Interesting stop if you enjoy maritime history. The host were very friendly and informative. Walking trails around the grounds offer great views of the Pacific Ocean

Very informative volunteers. Great pictures and information along with artifacts preserved. Two floors. Free entry and parking. Trails leading to ocean views. Refurbished life boat outside of museum.

Very nice museum with so much history of Port Orford and the life boat station from the early to mid 1900's. Lots of hands-on for kids, beautifully manicured state park with gorgeous, easy, well-maintained hiking trails
