Great family experience location. Nice campsites spread apart. Large trees help isolate you from the coast winds. Walk down to the beach and play in the sand.

Stayed at the cabin, Osprey. Amazingly quiet camp site surrounded by a lot of nature. wild rabbits and chip monks are out everywhere. Very clean facilities well kept by the camp host. Gorgeous view from the light house which you should not miss.

Farthest west park in continental USA and lighthouse plus Hughes house are worth seeing. Windy but campground is well protected by trees. Accessible beach for walks, Elk River, agates, and fishing for surfperch. Great walks.

If you like old lighthouses you will like your visit. Easy to drive to, next to a beach. Individuals staffing it knowledgeable. Worth a drop in.

No, but there is a dump station within 10 miles of this park. Go to Reserve America to look at Oregon State Parks and get park/RV info and to reserve a spot.
