The weather here is pretty harsh but we woke up to a beautiful morning. We only stayed one night in a cabin. It was comfortable with a view of the ocean. It is just a short drive to the beach or lighthouse. The bunk bed...More

Intended to stay here one night and ended up staying 3 nights. Beautiful forested State park with amenities including firewood, heated washrooms and showers and full hookups for RV's. Walking trails are numerous and there is a lookout within the Park that is breathtaking and...More

The campground is very well arranged with large sites with or w/o hook ups. The park staff are very friendly and helpful! There are cabins to rent if you desire. The beaches are really awesome with big off shore rocks, birds and other wildlife. Often...More

Whether you're staying at the campground or not, you can drive through the campground down a steep partially paved one-lane road to the beach. NOT for RV's! Parking just before the road ends. Although, if you're adventurous and have a high-clearance 4 x 4 vehicle...More

I come here several times a year to walk on various trails and to enjoy the views. When friends come from out of town, Cape Blanco is always on our activities list. Beware it is quite windy here most days of the year, so bring...More

The tide pools just before the lighthouse are some of the best we've seen on the west Coast so far. If you like starfish, they have many different sizes and colors. It is very cold and windy though. At least for us today! Be prepared.

Oregon has a very good state campground system. This one is first come first served, and we found plenty of spots to choose from in the middle of July. It's well off 101 and has a quiet feel. The ocean roars beneath many of the...More

We stayed here for 3 days. Each day we walked the trails, visited the nearby beach, lighthouse, and scenic viewpoints, all within 3 miles!! The trail system runs along the backside of the campsites and along the ocean with great views of whale rock and...More

It takes a little bit of a drive to get out to Cape Blanco, but it is worth it! So gorgeous, in all directions. This historical lighthouse, with its Fresnel lens, can be climbed, with close-up views of the inner workings of the light itself....More

No, but there is a dump station within 10 miles of this park. Go to Reserve America to look at Oregon State Parks and get park/RV info and to reserve a spot.
