unique neighborhood all it's own

This area has my favorite cafe Either/Or. It also has the Columbia outlet, and a variety of unique shops. Worth a stop.

Sellwood is an older section of Portland that I personally think of as the center for antiques and vintage shopping. Lots of small, personally ran businesses with so many differences. Great little restaurants, art shops, eclectic finds and, of course, antique shops. Okay, there's even a Starbucks, but we all need our vises.

It was a solid place to visit but it didn't go into my heart. There was little there I could hold on to.

It is a nice area of Portland to go see. There are great shoppes and really good food, some of the "resale" places have gotten a bit pricey but have some finds.

Sellwood is a pleasant, quiet area to shop in. There are small shops and some places to eat. There is a village of food trucks with foods from different countries as well as unique options.

Scenic, atmospheric. Some attractive old houses and commercial buildings. Some great coffee houses like the Living Room.

The neighborhoods are becoming more and more expensive and the shops are being updated as well as the housing in the area. Sellwood Park and Oaks Park are close by. There are many trendy little shops, coffee shops and restaurants. Walk the streets and enjoy the upgraded ambiance of this area.

This is a neat neighborhood to park and walk to antique shops, brew pubs and mom and pop restaurants. The drivers always give pedestrians and bikers the right of way, and if you are lucky, you will be there when one of Portland's many bike rides pass through.

The Sellwood Moreland area is our favorite area in which to take a walk (even though we live 8 miles away). The houses are interesting, the views of downtown from the bluff catch your attention, a loaf of fresh bread or a sandwich from Grand Central Bakery is a must, antique shops to visit, food carts with great offerings, and... I just love to drive around this area and explore. There are some neat restaurants and pubs here. I like to check out the progress on the new bridge also.
