We only visited the International Rose Garden and it is exquisite. You can easily spend the day in Washington Park but we only had a few hours. Wish we were able to see more.

Washington Park is a beautiful park in the middle of the see. When you walk through the park you forget you are in the city. You are covered and surrounded by beautiful redwood trees. Coming from Southern California, I definitely appreciated it's natural beauty.

What a gorgeous surprise. Amazed at the variety of roses and the vastness of this park. Nice combo of people walking their dogs and people having picnics as well as visitors checking out the roses. We went on a weekend evening around 8pm and parking...More

Japanese and Rose Garden a must see.--The fee for Japanese Garden is worth it. Very peaceful. I wish I had brought a book . It was also very hot so would strongly recommend being hydrated and wear a hat

The Japanese Garden and Rose garden were lovely and peaceful even with lots of people around. Loved Pittock House at the top of the park too.

We visited the Japanese Garden and the Rose Garden. Japanese Garden was amazing. Dropped by the cafe for tea at the end. Elevation also gives a perspective to the city. Highly recommend this experience.

No specific bike trails, but there are plenty of bikers on the winding roads through the park. Check out the park map.
