I love Washington Park. There's so much to do here. You can relax, take your kids to the playground, look at the beautiful Rose Garden, go to the Portland Zoo, the Children's Museum, play tennis, look at the Japanese Gardens, and enjoy the scenery. It has great views and is an awesome place to spend your day.

This is a great park that is easily accessible via the Max. I went to do some trail running and plan on returning to do some sightseeing.

What an outstanding bit of nature tucked into an urban setting. A great place to get away from the hussle and bussle of the big city without having to even leave town

Warning : Avoid The Rose Garden and Japanese Garden area. There is terrible dust, noise due to long ongoing construction project. Plus traffic delays throughout and entrance access and the is parking terrible. If you want shuttle from the Zoo area or better yet go to Macleay Park in the NW part of Forest Park. For a beautiful roses setting... More

All the rhododendrons were in full bloom and were quite spectacular! The many paths were nice to have, but the signage on some of them was lacking or confusing, especially if you were off in the woods away from obvious landmarks.

We could have spent all day here. We walked from our hotel and took some really cool photos looking out over the city. We found a small playground, some statues, beautiful scenery!

This park was so beautiful. coming from the desert valley city of Phoenix, I was enthralled by the various shades of green that wee in this park. It was so tranquil and beautiful. There were not many people there when we visited so it was lovely to have this beauty all to ourselves. I was so impressed with the neatness... More

Washington Park should not be missed. In the hills west of Downtown Portland with a spectacular view of the city and Mount Hood and Mount St. Helens. The International Rose Garden is a treat for the senses. The colors and scents are not to be missed. Best in June/July/August. A memorable sight not found elsewhere. After that, walk over to...
