Powell's is worthy of its excellent reputation. They seem to have everything you could ever want and the store is well organized for helping yourself, but there are good staff on hand to help if you need it! I love the parking garage next door!

I have to go here every time I go to Portland. They have so many books I never knew existed or I needed to read. Even if you can't afford or have the room to buy a lot of books, it's good to see what all is out there and take notes of those you want to read or buy... More

As always, we had a wonderful experience at Powell's. You walk in and the energy is abundant. Staff is ready to assist you in finding what you're looking for both at the service desk and while wondering the massive isles. Their selection is superb and if you are looking for something rare or unique that they don't have on hand... More
