We have visited here often. it is a great family attraction. So many rotating new exhibits as well They offer excellent summer classes and my son took animation classes through them for 3 summers in a row with a top notch animator! The Omni Max movie theater is on site and is a great activity to see too!

I went to OMSI during the Journey to Outer Space exhibit and was thrilled to say the least. I was with a friend of mine who isn't as obsessed with space as I am and we both equally had a wonderful time! The exhibits where clearly labeled and extremely fascinating. The museum itself is also very accessible to disabled individuals... More

Our family of four (with a 6yr old and 8yr old) really enjoyed this museum for 4+ hours and we could have stayed longer but it was closing. The space exhibit, movies, submarine, were all big hits. Our kids said the submarine was their favorite and are still talking about it weeks later.

If you're not from Portland, you'll feel left out. Visited w/a 10-yr-old science-lover. 1. Ticket sales disappointing (took 4 members in line before 1 non-member, no mention of AAA discount, couldn't tell us schedule of day's events, didn't offer map - should have asked, "Is this your first visit?" to know to help. 2. It's quite the walk from the... More

OMSI is a great place to visit with kids with several hands on activities. There is a large theatre For a separate fee as well as a great submarine tour for an additional fee.

We love the displays here and the children's rooms are entertaining and fun for the kids. The exhibits like the pregnancy & aging are so interesting and fun for all ages. As an adult I'm never bored here & they are always changing the exhibits. The only problem with this place is that my son gets so excited to look... More

Great place to take your kids... Or even for adults. Submarine tour was awesome and informative, lots of different kind of movies and great exhibits. The space exhibit was really captivating

Ages 18 and 25 here and big science-lovers. We spent a good amount of time in the Journey to Space exhibit. It's definitely geared towards younger kids but there was still a lot to learn and see. The entire "physics" portion was kinda dumb- lots of puzzles and games that were clearly just to keep kids interested but really had... More

Good physics laboratory showcasing various science experiments. Very interesting submarine tour (separate charge). If you have a membership of a science museum elsewhere, it's worth inquiring whether you can enter for free (there is agreement with over 120 museums nationwide). Great food options for both grown-up and kids.
