Love, love, love!

I first went to OMSI as a child 17 years ago and had such a blast, and I STILL have an amazing time as an adult. There is truly something for everyone here.

Great place for kids although geared for those in elementary school. Although adults could also learn a few things, the main attraction (at least for us) was the submarine. It requires an modest additional fee but, if you've ever been curious about life on a submarine, the hour long tour is enlightening.

This is a really great place to spend a day visiting all there is to see and do at OMSI. If you live on the Portland area and have a family I highly recommend getting an annual pass. There are many different featured event throughout the year and the annual membership will more than pay for itself. It also comes... More

We spent a few hours here, parking was $5 and the museum prices vary. The man at the counter actually talked us down to a smaller package as it was later in the day and he knew we wouldn't have time for it all. We started our day with going on a submarine and learning what life would have been... More

Was better when I was a youth, not nearly as interesting as I remembered. Kinda BLAH actually. Not really that great anymore.

Great rainy day pace for the family. Movies, exhibitions, super gift shop, even a submarine. Plus it is located at the east side of the Tillium, pedestrian, bridge and the east side esplanade. Great area for the youngsters to burn off some energy

My family loves these kinds of museums. This one did not disappoint. We only had 2 hours and naturally we wished for a couple more. Loads of interactive exhibits. Lots to do with environmental impacts. There are manipulative brainteasers placed throughout the museum and we were very interested in solving those. While we were with teens, I think this museum...
