I enjoyed this museum. It currently has a special Kennedy exhibit which was very interesting. It is very reasonably priced.

I like this museum as it was well structured and informative. Oregon trail information was excellent . The Kennedy exhibition was excellent too and runs until the November 12th .2017,Very professional layout and impressive building. I was surprised at there being no refreshment facility as in the US they are common. In fact food and drink were specifically forbidden to... More

Stopped by after visiting the PAM and enjoyed the visit. The JFK exhibit is a must see for those not around during that generation.

The museum covers three floors, but there was nothing on display on the second floor when I visited. Most history, from American Indians all the way through the 1950s, is covered. There are also two small theaters, each showing a different short film that is worth seeing. The basement level has newspaper clippings and paintings from local artists. Nice museum... More

I actually visited the Oregon Historical Society Museum at a wedding. I didn't even know this place was there and I was intrigued by this intimate, interesting little museum. Definitely want to visit the Museum by day, and highly recommend it if you're looking for a nice party venue!

If you can't be outside this may be a good alternative. I get bored easily so this was a bit slow for me. There were 2 short films but even they didn't really impress me. Some of the lights were out over some exhibits making it very hard to see what was there. A lot of reading and not much... More

While the admission of $11 for adults might seem a bit much for a 1-2 hour stay, there is a lot to do for families with children. Most of the major exhibit on the history of Oregon (and it is EXTREMELY well done!) is on the 3rd floor (you work way down through the museum). The rest of the museum... More
