The gardens outside at the back of the mansion, the panoramic views of the city, the house of the chauffeur (Gate Lodge), the mansion itself....I thought everything was very worthwhile of visiting. Got there from the Rose Gardens. There is an Uber spot close to...More

The views...WOW. The house is nice. Things are a bit musty, so my allergies made me leave faster than my tour group did, but the gardens were amazing and the views are spectacular.

Either way you'll enjoy your afternoon, seeing a bit of early Portland (and Western) history. The views from the yard are unmatched in town for all but the very elite and lucky. It's a popular spot, but definitely worth a stop.

Beautiful views of the city. We were able to catch up to one of the guided tours. The staff are also walking around the mansion to answer questions as well. Well worth the visit

Gorgeous setting inside and out. The house is meticulously restored with plenty of information. Unusual curved layout. Gardens outside worth a walk about with unbearable Portland views.

The Pittock Mansion is a little out of the way, but offers fantastic views of the city. We had a lovely time looking through the mansion and learning about the family. If you decide to walk back into downtown, though, wear some walking shoes!

We paid $10 each to walk through the museum and found it worthwhile. It was very modern for its time with an elevator and a refrigerator. I would recommend this for any tourist, whether you drive there or hike up from Lower Mackney Trail.
