At the Travel Portland Visitor Information Center you'll find brochures, maps and expert advice for your stay in the greater Portland region - all in the heart of downtown at Pioneer Courthouse Square. Within easy walking distance of downtown hotels and served by MAX light rail, the square also houses TriMet, where you can buy transit tickets. HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Sunday (May-October only) 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Went to the visitor center to get advice on our visit to Portland. Wonderful suggestions on happy hours, breweries, metro MAX, gardens as well as traveling to the waterfalls, Mt Hood, the ocean. Thank you for the great advice

We are regular visitors but still go here when we want additional information about the City or the State. Loads of maps and brochures available plus very knowledgable' approachable staff.

We are two Aussies on our first visit to Portland. We were helped by the lovely Janet with the English accent. She spent a good 10 minutes with us and provided maps and suggestions for our 4 days in Portland.

Super helpful!!! This should be your 1st stop in Portland!!! to avoid unnecessary delays or disappointments, since for some reason self - navigating in Oregon inst the same as everywhere else, very poor signage on the roads leading to main attractions.

I have never heard of them. I would trust the Hotel Websites or Trivago..
