A heavily treed natural area within city limits. Well marked paved trails that go up and down the ravine past Tryon Creek. Great place to take the family for a nature walk. The Nature Center has your typical taxidermied critters. They offer talks and tours...More

We go to Tryon at least twice a summer. A great place to wander in the woods. It's in a deep valley so beware of the climb up if your not in shape or have a bad leg.

Bring some bug spray, and a travel coffee...and take it all in. The canopies of trees are so beautiful to look at and listen to in a breeze. Amazing to have such a site right in town. Grab lunch in John's Landing afterwards!

Ran this every Saturday for years. Then moved to Florida panhandle and my soul misses this place (not to mention my heels, soft trail runs). I have so many video’s of creeks to sustain me until I come back for a visit. This is my...More

It is close to the Portland city center. It is very beautiful with lots of hiking trails for either short or long hikes. You can hop in at anytime.

Went to Tryon Creek last Friday and had a great time exploring the trails and meandering along the creek. Although somewhat dry due to lack of rain, the area is lush and green. Their are a variety of trails to explore and an wheelchair accessible...More

Explore this beautiful park! If you are here during Trillium season, the park is even more beautiful! Right near Lewis and Clark College. Trails, paths, and serene beauty!

All of the trails are short with ease of walking. The trails are fine for even electric wheelchairs-- to some degree.
