This is where the beautiful Portlanders live, work, eat, shop, play. Nuff said! There are lots of great food places and interesting shops. It is NOT the only place to be in Portland, but a fun start.

We stayed in the Pearl District and it was full of young and old. It seems that everyone wears a backpack. Felt very safe.

Streets were very clean, interesting architecture . Very old to new. Plenty of places that make you say " I'd like to live there". Restaurants, coffee and retail what more do you need?
