Stumbled upon the Pearl and immediately felt cool. Basically it's got breweries, pot shop, and stores for trendy clothes and camping. Great chill spot is 10Barrels brewery on roof deck.

The Pearl District is filled with wonderful shops, restaurants, and great energy. My teenage daughter and I were touring colleges in Oregon and I fell in love with this part of Portland. Enjoy!

We enjoyed our walk around this district of Portland. Entered a lot of the galleries to see new art. Also enjoyed a nice restaurant. Only issue was lot's of construction.

Second visit to The Pearl. We enjoy staying close to downtown but prefer not to stay right in the midst of it. This area has a cool and comfortable vibe. It's clean and it's safe. There is a lot of construction going on, but even...More

You can easily spend an entire day here. I was delighted to find a book that had been on my want to read list for several years but had been out of print for many years. Other than the bookstore, we did not feel there...More

Definitely gives you a taste of Portland and so much to see, do, shop or dine. Worth spending a few hours here.

My wife and I stayed at a hotel in the Pearl District for a few nights while visiting a relative. We weren't really ready for the multi-ring circus that is Portland. Portland is a very liberal place, made possible by all the Information (Computer) Technology...More

Great area for checking out shops and restaurants. There is an elevated walkway/loading dock area that runs down the buildings so that you can walk past each restaurant away from the traffic. Some have seating on the loading docks. Nice area and beats the downtown...More

Sorry... Portland, while I love being there is a total mystery to me.... my grandson seems to have no difficulty finding his way around. I rely on Lyft to navigate the city, I can't imagine driving there.

The Zoo! Awesome! If you like great Pinot Noir and have a car, the Willamette valley has great wine. The Pearl for shopping/eating great food carts ( not your traditional gut truck!!)
