Beautiful memorial to a sad chapter in world history.

The memorial is a emotional remembrance to local Jewish families that lost members to the holocaust.

Everyone who comes to Portland should pay a visit to this memorial. It is very well done in giving honors to those who suffered this unforgettable brutality. Seeing the little sculptures along the path really tug at the heart. The setting is very serene and...More

Really nothing to see - it's a waste of time! It'll take you longer to find it than the time you'll spend there - it's a dull, tiny wall - not worth seeing!!!

As a Holocaust survivor I make it a point to visit the Memorials wherever I visit. This one was unique and inspirational. The succinct history of the Holocaust engraved on the wall is very worthwhile for those who didn't know or remember what happened to...More

We have seem numerous Holocaust memorials and this one was simply, but probably one the most thought provoking ones we have seen. Take time to read the inscriptions.

The memorial included sculptures of items left behind when people were removed from their homes. These items were very realistic. The quotes on the memorial wall were touching. A great place to reflect.

We visited the Memorial as part of our day at Washington Park. Even knowing ahead of time what happened during the Holocaust, this Memorial sent chills down my spine. To imagine that anyone could ever hold such evil in their heart is unfathomable, yet it...More

You may just happen to come across this somber but beautiful monument during a stroll through Washington Park, as we did, but it would be worth a short visit on its own. This is a memorial, not a museum, so I take issue with the...More

Why 3 stars? I am always disappointed in that these memorials do not portray the full scale of what happened. They only focus on Jewish victims. There were more than 10 million people who died in German camps, yet only the 6 million Jews are...More
