Join us on our guided, culinary walking tours and taste your way through...

Join us on our guided, culinary walking tours and taste your way through some of Portland's most delicious neighborhoods from fine dining to food carts. Friendly guides make it fun, sharing stories of local culture and history, while you sample some of the best food in town. On all of our tours, we make 6-7 stops featuring casual eateries, higher end restaurants, a food cart, an educational stop, and a dessert location that reflect the way we eat in Portland. On tour, you may sample local craft beer, seasonal small plates, cocktails, tiny artisan cookies, micro-batch coffee, food cart goodness, and more, made with the ingredients & creativity that Oregon is famous for. You'll get the stories behind the tastes with your expert culinary guide. We offer tours in three of the city's greatest neighborhoods! Alphabet District Tour: Friday afternoons. Mississippi Ave Tour: Saturday & Sunday afternoons. Downtown & The Pearl District Tour, Thursday and Saturday afternoons. Our tour schedule varies seasonally, so please check our website for more details and to buy tickets!

Very good but not excellent. Out of the six (6) stops would recommend 4 highly. It is challenging to maintain a top level at all times. Mee Sen Thai, Koi Fusion, Sidecar 11 and Ecliptic Brewing were excellent. Thought The Meadow and Rudy Jewel were pushing it a little. Overall would recommend for someone(s) to get to know Portland. Arielle... More

We were spending a couple of weeks in Portland so knew signing up for a walking food tour is one of the best ways to both learn about the area, but also discover spots and neighborhoods to revisit. Our tour with Forktown was excellent and well worth the money. We visited Nel Centro, SouthPark, a food pod/cart, Grassa, Cacao, and... More

Melissa was our guide and she was great! Amazing food, drinks, and history. Enjoyed all of our stops (Nel Centro, SouthPark, Lardo, Grassa, Cacao, and Saint Cupcake) a lot. Would highly recommend, and will do another tour when I'm back in Portland!

Signed up for this as I had a weekend between two seminars in the Northwest. I had a wonderful time. The guide was very knowledgeable and very savvy! She added a lot of local history and lore as well as sharing her knowledge of the food and beverages. Each stop was very unique and delicious! I would highly recommend this... More

Arielle, our tour guide, was wonderful and well informed. Food was yummy and plentiful during the Downtown Portland Tour. The portions were bigger than in some other food tours we've gone to so you don't go hungry. The alcohol provided with three of the samples was a nice surprise. Highly recommend and we are veteran food tour attendees!

Downtown Portland Food Tour: Arielle was a charming, knowledgeable and bubbly guide. The food was fabulous and each venue was somewhere I had not been before, but will definitely try again. We loved all the stops, each with a different food & drink focus, and they were all a great showcase for the best our city has to offer. The... More

A friend and I took our fourth Forktown Food Tour on November 4th. (Our Christmas gift to each other is a Forktown Food Tour gift certificate.) Arielle was our guide for the Division Street tour and she was fantastic, again. We had a fun afternoon discovering culinary delights at 6 unique establishments; Saint Honore Boulangerie, Ingrid’s Scandinavian Food Cart, Bollywood... More

I took took the North Mississippi tour led by Arielle. Her warm manner and smile managed to brighten up the dreary rainy day. Arielle knows her stuff, especially the comings and goings of Portland's chefs and farmers. Portions were generous, restaurants were welcoming and we had a wonderful group of both travelers and locals on the tour. I joined as... More

Arrielle was our tour guide and she was amazing! I felt instantly comfortable with her friendly smile and easy manner. Plus she knows her info about the area we visited and Portland in general. There were 8 of us in the group and by the end of the first visit we were chatting like old friends. The food/drink stops were... More

Come hungry! There's lots of food to eat with an emphasis on local flavors. Our guide was great and shared information about the local area. We did the Mississippi district and really enjoyed it.
