Join us on our guided, culinary walking tours and taste your way through...

Join us on our guided, culinary walking tours and taste your way through some of Portland's most delicious neighborhoods from fine dining to food carts. Friendly guides make it fun, sharing stories of local culture and history, while you sample some of the best food in town. On all of our tours, we make 6-7 stops featuring casual eateries, higher end restaurants, a food cart, an educational stop, and a dessert location that reflect the way we eat in Portland. On tour, you may sample local craft beer, seasonal small plates, cocktails, tiny artisan cookies, micro-batch coffee, food cart goodness, and more, made with the ingredients & creativity that Oregon is famous for. You'll get the stories behind the tastes with your expert culinary guide. We offer tours in three of the city's greatest neighborhoods! Alphabet District Tour: Friday afternoons. Mississippi Ave Tour: Saturday & Sunday afternoons. Downtown & The Pearl District Tour, Thursday and Saturday afternoons. Our tour schedule varies seasonally, so please check our website for more details and to buy tickets!

My sister and I went on a tour with Amy. I came into town for a conference and wanted to do something fun in the city. There were 6 of us with the guide. It was great to check out different restaurants and get a better feel of the town. The food had great variety and this was the first... More

I went on the Mississippi Tour yesterday and thorougly enjoyed it. Amy, our tour guide, did a really great job and I think she's a skilled guide. I like the historical elements she wove into the tour in addition to an informed understanding of the various businesses we visited. Its crazy how fast 3 hours goes by. I also enjoyed... More

We went on the North Mississippi ave tour today with Amy and had the best time. Every stop was great, and amazing mix of food and drinks! The area is fun and eclectic and we stayed after for another beer. Loved loved the tour and appreciated the fact that Amy after the tour gave us several day tours for us... More

My husband and I just went to Portland for the weekend and booked a food tour with Forktown. Heidi the owner was running the tour the day we went and training a new tour guide. Both ladies were informative and enthusiastic. The tour was very well organized, we didn't wait or want for anything. Food was delicious. Great variety. We... More

My friends and I just finished an unforgettable tour of North Mississippi with tour guide Marissa. Wow! I learned so much, even after having lived in PDX for 10+ years. A tip for the first-timers: Come hungry! The servings were generous at every stop along the way and the walk between destinations is just a couple blocks (not enough to... More

Went on the Sunday tour on North Mississippi. I'm glad I only had a protein shake for breakfast, because I was stuffed after this tour. We had six different stops ranging from thai, food truck, cocktails, and dessert. Marissa was an awesome tour guide and I left knowing a lot about the history of the neighborhood and the eateries. I... More

Heidi was an amazing guide for our group. She managed 16 adults like a pro, giving us each individual attention. The food selections had a perfect amount of variety (from Thai to burgers to interesting cocktails) and the sequencing was very balanced - most heartier things were in the beginning and we had stops for drinks or other things at... Our family (including one child, one teen) had a delightful 3 hour food tour with Heidi, the proprietor and Melissa, one of the newest members of the company's team. Our tour focused on an area called "Slabtown" or NW 23rd. Great welcome; warm. Knowledgeable. Great choice of establishments, including Besaw's, one of the oldest restaurants in Portland, Bull Run Distilling... More

As a surprise for my wife (we are both amateur foodies here in the Portland area) booked a tour with Forktown for their Downtown/Pearl District route. Heidi, the owner, was our guide - she is amazing. Not only did she treat us to a fantastic tour of wonderful eateries, including a surprisingly delicious food cart stop, she also bestowed a... More

Did the downtown and pearl district tour. It was a good tour but I like their Mississippi tour better. Obviously have used them before and think their tour, food, and information is spot on.
