First time visitor - loved it. Great concert. Small, intimate atmosphere we were only a few feet from the stage. The small size means that the seats are a little on the small side. I picked a seat next to a large gentleman and had to sit sideways in my seat, but that didn't detract from a great evening. The... More

We traveled from Montana to hear Karla Bonoff and Nina Gerber perform at the Alberta Rose Theatre. The theatre itself is lovely but the sound did not improve despite Ms. Bonoff's repeated thoughtful requests to make adjustments. We were in the 7th row with great seats yet it was difficult to make out the words of her songs due to... More

Attended a evening of beyond wonderful Blues Music at the Alberta Rose Theatre. A beautiful old historic theatre brimming charming ambience. Seating is comfortable & all seats have a spectacular view of the stage.

I'm a little embarrassed having lived in Portland for 11 years that the first time I walked into the Alberta Rose was just this last New Year's Eve. What a great room! And great management, great acoustics. If you've been there, I'm not writing for you, I'm adding to the great reviews that will hopefully encourage folks to keep an... More

Fun time watching the Circus Carol. Preferred seating for $40.00 was worth it to sit close to the front. 3rd and 4th rows have nicer seats with more cushion. Get your seat early and get in line for a drink and the restroom. All the staff was very nice and professional and the show was great except a few left... More

Just finished another fantastic White Album christmas last night at Alberta Rose. I have to say I love this place. Many restaurants could take cues from the wait staff here...always friendly, loving and polite in the midst of one of the craziest bar lines around. A place for Noah and his team to shine as Wanderlust and The Nowhere Band... More

This is one of my favorite venues in Portland. Small and intimate as others have mentioned with great seating and acoustics. I have attended many different types of performances here; Circus and Music shows, Live Wire, and Mortified. Ticket prices are great, staff is super friendly, and they have a counter serving beer, wine, and snacks. There are plenty of... More

This was an old movie theatre that was renovated and now has live acts of all kinds. We were there on a Saturday night for 5 storytelling performers. It was a funkie general seating place with very friendly people. Parking was challenging because it was a residential neighborhood. We went early and "saved" our seats with our jackets, then took... This is a nice intimate venue, in a great part of town. We walked around Albert St, had a nice dinner then caught a concert here. It was a great night.

Awesome small theater in a great progressive neighborhood. Seats about 300 for a show. Has a great feel and a wide assortment of shows for every taste. The neighborhood has tons of walkable bars, resterants and shops to visit before and after. I highly recommend getting on their email list and going to a show you would like when they... More
