Visited during the summer. No crowds, no kids. Several very nice exhibits, including info on "Silicon Forest" (history of High Tech in Wash. Cty). On Oregon Trail, history of Wash Cty during WWII. Small museum in downtown Hillsboro across the street from the Wahington County Courthouse. Entrance is next to the Starbucks in the Hilsboro Civic Center. The museum is upstairs. There is elevator access and bathrooms are upstairs by the museum. Small number of exhibits, but good quality. Regular Admission is $6 adults, $4 youth, Seniors and College Students. I thought this display would have had more interactive information than what was there. The space tools were very interesting. And then there was the memory match card game, I guess for kids. I thought we would be able to look into a telescope. The Hubble model was OK with some good info on the display piece around it. There... More

This small gem of a museum highlights the history of the little known native peoples of the Washington county Tualatin River area-- the Alfalatis. Farmers still unearth artifacts such as spear points and grinding stones. The exhibits here are very well done and interesting.
