This magnificent San Fran bridge prototype has arches designed like cathedral windows, all focusing underneath toward a lovely walkway and park. Best views are at sunrise or dusk; absolutely magnificent!
This bridge is old with an interesting history and transports at many levels. Especially beautiful in the rain...or when it's snowing. Cathedral Park, just underneath and adjacent is a wonderful park for walks, photography and a venue for music concerts.

US 30 into Portland from the North passes under the St. John's when I was last on the hwy itself this was a very trashy area on the south side I have not been in Cathedral Park in area that was once it's own city (St. John's) but I ran a marathon in 1977 that took the runners through the park and all I could see was the bridge so I would need to rely on the south side for the best camera shot.
