Great, clean, safe, fast, and cheap. The MAX was a great investment for this city and goes almost anywhere one would like to.

Excellent transportation system. Boarded as Cascade Station and went downtown. Easy to navigate once downtown. Loved the easy color scheme. Clean and comfortable. Felt safe always. Reasonably priced.

With a smart phone and the excellent maps on the MAX, Portland is fun to explore. The cars are very clean, and tickets are easy to purchase. Riding on off hours is the key to a seat,

If you can, do rent a car to visit the gorge area. There are so many waterfalls to see, places to hike (short to long, easy to difficult), and views to enjoy.

I don't believe so. This is a city / suburban service. Eugene is almost 2hours south of Portland on I5.
