Super easy, great value! It was great to take this from PDX int to downtown. These trains are easy to access, clean and get you where you want to go.

I ride the Max to go pickup my visitor's at the airport! I take the blue from Hillsboro end of line, transfer at other end of line to the red, then ride it to the end of the line! Super Convenient!!

One of the easiest rail systems to navigate. I never rent a car or use a cab when in Portland. I feel safe, I know when the next train is coming, and the cars are clean.

I love when cities have inexpensive, interconnected, and easy to use systems for navigating the city and Portland's MAX fits all those categories. Tickets are easy to buy either at a station, stop, or by downloading the Trimet app. I used Google Maps public transport the whole time and was never lost and was able to easily see and navigate... I highly recommend the use of public transportation in Portland, Oregon. It is inexpensive, convenient and efficient. Everything was with in walking distance.

We rode this several times while in Portland. It's cheap, but is very hard to figure out which line and where to get off, sometimes.

Great way to get around Portland. I would definitely suggest getting the app so you can just pay online and go. The website also has a great trip planner feature which maps out exactly how to get where you're going using the entire transit system (bus, rail, streetcar). Also, your ticket is good for all of the modes of transit... More

The tram goes from the airport to downtown and beyond. It's inexpensive and trains leave frequently. It's very Portland, with the usual mix of characters. It gets crowded, so you might consider an alternative if you have a lot of baggage.

When in Portland, I ride this all the time. You can get from the airport to downtown or elsewhere, or back to the airport, for $2.50. What a deal. And the ride is safe, fun and enjoyable. You buy the passes in the kiosks they have everywhere--you can buy day passes or longer, or you can just buy a $2.50... More

I love letting someone else do the driving. Most of the time my rides are on time and uneventful. However, PDX, being as colorful as it is from time to time you will bump into some "characters".
