One of my favorite places to go for romantic walks with my wife. Particularly in the fall, or the winter, or spring, and even on the not sweltering summer days. The playground is updated and cool.

Nice walking area, dog friendly, big old trees in a nice neighborhood. There is a pond in the center and usually people around playing frisbee or tossing things to their dogs.

Love the colors of autumn in Laurelhurst. The ducks are there no matter what the season. Summer is great for picnics here.

Laurelhorst park in the cool south-east of Portland is a beautiful scenic park with a little pond in the middle. Nearby on 32nd and Burnside are some cool restaurants, pubs and a cinema.

Great place for everyone. Has a pond, swings, and basketball pick-up games every afternoon. Some big name players have played at this park.

This area of Portland is quite lovely. The old homes are absolutely stunning and worth the time to check out. Clean beautiful charming neighborhood without any riffraff. What Portland used to be like.

I've often visited this park nearby my daughter's place in Portland, OR. Some adjectives that I'd use to describe Laurelhurst Park on a very hot July day... Shady, lush, expansive, tranquil, serene, and a safe place to get in out of the hot sun. To be...More

What a lyrical park with many trees and a pond with a varieties of ducks, all of whom think they own the place! I also saw an Osprey there and Steller's Jay, among other birds. It's a pretty, peaceful park to walk in and spend...More

Your most likely place to park (for several hours) would be 1 block north of Stark St. As noted above, it would be best to be there before noon to secure a larger space on the street.
