Laurelhurst Park is just the proper size to feel as though one can run/stroll/enjoy a park without being completely lost in nature. The park's several trails offer elevation change suitable for any person, pet, or adventure, which makes it quite a lot of fun to...More

This park has always been a favorite, but has been largely experienced through driving by it. However, visually, it's wonderful to see such a green area amidst the city roads and building.

I wouldn't go out of my way to visit but we were in the neighbourhood and this is a nice park for a walk, a jog, or to sit reading a book under the trees. It's a nice park with some beautiful trees.

I wandered the length of the park while walking a 4 mile route through the neighborhoods. It's about 9 blocks long and there are several trail options, some of which intersect. Very quiet neighborhood area with dog walkers and bikers.

Your most likely place to park (for several hours) would be 1 block north of Stark St. As noted above, it would be best to be there before noon to secure a larger space on the street.
