On our first day in Portland, our daughter took us to Rocky Butte park. The road to the summit is filled with lovely houses which seem to be balanced on beams. We went on a weekday & there were only a few people visiting. Parking...More

My son loves this viewpoint. It's special due to the unique castle like structure on top. The views of the north are the best in town, but southern views aren't as great, being blocked by trees.

My friend and I stopped here and were so glad we did. The view is amazing! On a clear day you can see two snow capped volcanoes in the distance which are magnificent!! Worth a stop and doesnt take much time.

I take everyone here because you get a nice view of PDX and there's never a crowd. It's really small and not much else to do here. Bring a coffee or hot chocolate and come early to watch the sunrise. It's the best view ever...More

Wood Hill Park has a beautiful scenery overlooking the city of Portland. It took us 6-7 mins to drive after visiting the grotto. Not accessible by public transportation except hiring a taxi.
