Columbia Park is one of the better parks in the Portland area. It has a lot of trees for shade on a hot day that is why I went there. It's like a forest with a lot of green grass and tall trees . It also has a water area for the children to play and that is beyond reproach... More

I love this park. Simply a wonderful walk around/jog around park. This park is the greenest of greens. The air smells so good. I love stopping here on the way to Captured By Porches.

The park had what I'd call old timber, huge trees, it also has paved pathways, picnic areas, horseshoe pits, play areas for the kids with water play area. It's a really nice park just for a stroll. This is one of the nicest parks in Portland.

This is one of the prettiest parks in town. Huge old trees, conifers and deciduous, a lovely walking path that's about half a mile long, a building with a covered pool that's open year-round, a great playground a water feature for the little ones (or for you!), picnic tables, soccer fields, baseball diamonds. It's really a treasure.

It really is a must to see the river and the park. There are the ocassional homeless people and they will sometimes ask for a handout. None were aggressive and just moved on by. Don't let that take away from being out in the fresh air and enjoying the park, the river and the history of a beautiful city.

This is a large park in North-Central Portland which tends to have guys hanging out there. There are safer parks to visit than this one.
