For someone who doesn't relish the experience of heights, this experience is something that would not be thought of as a favorite vacation moment. But the ride was smooth, scenic and something classic to the Portland experience. So, take a deep breath and see what...More

A family member was at OHSU for a couple of weeks. We would walk uphill through a cool neighborhood and forest each morning and take the tram down at night. The tram is free coming down and takes only 3-4 min. It is also beautiful...More

I was somewhat disappointed when looking down from the top. I expected to see a beautiful vista, but it turned out to be just an overlook over Portland. I really had no need to go to OHSU, so I took the tram hoping to the...More

This was fun if you have a few minutes and want to see some great views. It can get crowded around 5-7 when people are changing shifts at the hospital.

Point to point for two great Portland landmarks; On the top end is OHSU- a world class medical facility. Also home of a Doernbecher, also world class medical facility but specifically for children. They have some great doc there. And finally to round out "Pill...More

The ride itself is fine, and quick. The tram is like those used in ski resorts so if you've been on one you know what to expect. At the top you can turn right just before entering the hospital itself to a terrace from which...More

Not expensive and worth the trip up to the hospital even for tourists even if it's just for the views. The ride is nice and smooth, just one little bump. Don't expect any thrills as it will mostly be people from the hospital and university...More

It's amazing view. Just realize that it just goes up to the hospital. But it is very different! And a different way to see Portland.

Something to do to get a view of parts of Portland from a high point. The ride up and back was the same as any other aerial tram and it is a means for getting to the health precinct. It was still very smokey the...More

I think you're talking about Tillikum Bridge, it's the newest bridge over the Willamette River and it's only open to the light rail trains, buses, foot traffic or bicycles. It is pretty cool.

you can park up at hospital, ride tram down to OHSU bldg. river front, then back up to the car. If you have appointment at hospital or river front bldg. you may get a free tram pass.
