I didn't know where it takes to. Every time I was passing 5th I was wondering where it takes to. Now I know - hospital. If you haven't try it - it worth to take that short ride, twice. Interesting view both in daytime and...More

This is a great experience while you're in Portland. You can take this tram from the South Waterfront up to OHSU. You can get off a the top of OHSU and admire the views before taking it back down.

The Portland Aerial Tram is primarily a way for people to get up to the hospital facility at the top. However, it works equally well a a tourist activity and city overlook. We rode the MAX out to this site our first night in town...More

Kids will love the ride! It's undoubtedly fun! The view on the ride itself is just "okay" - but I say this with the fact that I had a limited and mostly obstructed view during the ride up and back down. I'm very short, and...More

The view is underwhelming, and there really isn't much to do up there other that snap a pic (you arrive at a hospital). The fare isn't that expensive so its not a big loss, but not really worth the time.

Although it's really just a quick blip on the radar timewise, we loved it. We were fortunate enough to have a clear day and the views are amazing. The trip up was really fun - expect a swing! You can get off and go to...More

Simple Aerial tram ride from street level up to the hospital/university. Small fee to be paid but only on the upward journey. On a clear day the city and river are beautiful but little point if visibility is poor.
