City Park

A large City Park in Salem Or. It has miles and miles of walking paths. I Recommend no going their alone due to the number of homeless that live in the area.

This park is amazing. It has a dog off leash area, and also miles and miles of trails for strolling, jogging, bike riding, and just nature watching. It is so expansive that it doesn't really get old. You can rotate different regions of the park on different visits. My personal favorite is the section along the river because of the... More

Easy walking trails, birdlife, deer, rabbits, Willamette River, blackberries, all in one fabulous park for all to enjoy. We always see bikers, moms and dads with kids and pushing strollers, walkers and runners, people of all types, enjoying this wonderful park.

Took a quick hike down to the river, walked down a fallen tree to view the slough. Peaceful, quiet and clean.

Such a beautifull place to walk, run or bike! Wondrous views and you take your stroll! I believe there is also a dog park too.

When we moved to Salem, one of the first things I did was find the local dog park. Minto Brown is unlike any dog park I'd ever seen. The area set aside for dogs is enormous. Acres of open land where large and small dogs can mingle. Pros and Cons: PROS: - Plenty of parking - Easy access - Huge... More

This park is one of the key features that caused us to want to move to Salem. We are avid dog lovers and love the fact that, not only is there an "off leash" area (not fenced in) but there are over 20 miles of trails at MBP. There are doggie poo bags every 1/2 or so along most trails... More

Love to go to this local gem where one section is off leash for pups. There are trails and open filed for dogs to play. Remainder of the park requires dogs to be on leash, but it is great for walking along the river and slough. Bathrooms and playground make this a family friendly park!

Great place for biking. Miles of beautiful, well maintained trails. Not many people on the trails early in the morning.
