It''s not one of Salems best parks...great for running and also is close to dog park. Also a good walking trail. Not really family friendly.

This is a great place for an easy flat run, through a mix of woodlands, riverbank, and meadows. There are frequent trail signs and maps, and the trail distances are labeled. Most of the trails are paved, but I found a few softer dirt segments....More

From a new walking bridge to miles of trails you will find a lot of nice scenery to accompany your hike at Minto-Brown Island Park. You can picnic or stop by to walk the dogs there is always something to for all ages.

I've been in Salem for many years, I've never known it to be anything else other than farm land.

Yes there are a few, I believe, down by the children's playground area all the way at the end of the road near the river.
