Drove from Portland, OR to Seaside, OR to attend Gingerbread Tea and it was perfect. A charming army of grandmothers in matching gingerbread aprons serve homemade gingerbread and gingerbread cookies for children. They take your order and bring out vintage tea cups for tea or...More

Cute little city museum. Inexpensive and it won't take long to go through it. In addition to the museum, there is the Butterfield Cottage, a reproduction of a home from 1800s. Fun for kids to see how people lived in the early days of Seaside.

This museum is housed in a small house. The building has a charm by itself. The fee is $2.00 for seniors. The history of Seaside is well presented and it is a captivating story. It is well worth your time to walk into the past.
