Cute little city museum. Inexpensive and it won't take long to go through it. In addition to the museum, there is the Butterfield Cottage, a reproduction of a home from 1800s. Fun for kids to see how people lived in the early days of Seaside.

This museum is housed in a small house. The building has a charm by itself. The fee is $2.00 for seniors. The history of Seaside is well presented and it is a captivating story. It is well worth your time to walk into the past.

It is most interesting to take a peek at the past. The house was moved to its present location some years ago from a location a block from the promenade, which would have made it rather special. The contents of the house give the picture...More

Caring and well though out museum. The senior rate was only $2, hard to beat. It is just a short walk from the main hotel area.
