Friends in Portland, Oregon, suggested we stop in Sisters, Oregon, on our way to visit them. We couldn't understand why these particular friends would recommend that we stop at a theme park. However, as we drove into the city, we understood why they wanted us...More

Very nice small town about 30 minutes north of Bend. Many nice restaurants and hometown type shops. Three main streets about 5 blocks. Easy walking town. People seemed to be very nice and helpful.

Hope this place is quieter in the winter. Traffic goes through center of town. Can hardly turn from side streets. Get off main drag and use parallel streets to maneuver. Better yet keep on going most the restaurants close by 8 pm during the week...More

It’s a beautiful town, kinda a far-west filming location. I bet most of “old shops” are fake but they’re cool and well integrated with the landscape, creating a unique atmosphere. I wouldn’t spend more than a half day there, but your choice. Most antiques stores...More

This seems to be a darling, quaint town but it is actually busy. There are tons of shops to look in, great places to eat in the middle of beautiful park like setting

Great little town for browsing and relaxing. Interesting stores and art galleries, not to mention very good restaurants. Locals were very polite and helpful as guides.

Authentic western downtown right out of a movie set! Great shops, saloons, art and dining. Small, but great for a day or two.

Nope---the Sisters, North, South and Middle are visible (on a clear day) just a bit East of town on the way to Bend. Worth the extra few minutes!
