I had the chance to spend the day hiking here and it never fails to impress. From the smells to the falls there is so much to see. Bring some water and be prepared to have fun. You can bring children and older people. Great...More

The north 10 falls trail is beautiful and an easy hike. The trails are very well maintained and the falls are awesome. You can go behind the North Falls and Middle North Falls - what an experience. Highly recommend.

Whether you start at the South Falls or the North Falls you can't go wrong. Just make sure you plan to make your exit before it gets dark :)

Magnificent hike! The trail is 8+ miles of moderate/ easy ups and downs , we did about an 800 vertical gain on the hike. The trail is immaculate and pristine. The waterfalls are impressive. Wow, what a great place!

Amazing park with a lot of waterfalls. You can go hiking (more than 24 miles of walking trails) or just have a picnic with your friends or family. It's one of my favorite park and it's beautiful at any season.

This 7 mile loop is totaling worth the hike. We started at the South Falls. We had a beautiful, on again off again rainy day but the scenery is amazing. Make this a must do on your list.

We only did Lower South and South Falls. I wish we'd had time for the full Trail of Ten Falls, but maybe another time! South Falls is absolutely incredible--photos don't do it justice. I grossly underestimated just how big it really is, from looking at...More

Came here as a recommendation from a family member. Well worth the hour drive. It had snowed the night before so that added to the beauty. Parking was easy. $3 for parking I believe. Trails are clearly labeled. And you can get a map. Started...More

Silver Falls is a beautiful State Park in Oregon. There is a falls, North Falls, that you can actually walk to and walk behind. This is well worth the walk and the view, even when it is cold and wet.

Absolutely enjoyed visiting this state park and doing a lovely hike around the waterfalls. According to the map, there are 10 waterfalls that you will see if you do the entire 8.5 mile hike. But we opted to do just 2/3 of the hike and...More

It's hard to give an exact answer. I'd probably give it a couple more weeks as most the trees near me are still pretty green (& we're not far away from Silver Falls)
