Board a brightly colored open-air train to view portions of the longest dam in the United States, and then watch, via closed circuit TV, live images of fish using the fish ladder.

We stopped here on out way out of the Dalles and were glad we did. The view of the Dam was impressive and the interpretive center was interesting.

Very informative Visitor's Center with a small number of items to purchase. Tours are only on the weekend and must be secured in advance. Hike on a trail across the river and got some pretty good views.
