My friend and I were in Portland for a few days so we took an Uber out to Wahkeena falls and it was worth it! It's gorgeous and not crowded so you get lots of space for photos. We took the short hike from Wahkeena to Multnomah falls. Multnomah was gorgeous as well but more crowded than Wahkeena. I would... More

This hike is pretty short to get right up to the base of the falls and the pathway is paved. The parking lot is small but we didn't have any issue with parking.

Beautiful waterfall along the river. Plenty of places to park. Really short viewing so there are always spots opening up. Great day trip if you're in the area. Make sure to visit all of the falls along the road.

The first falls on the Columbia River highway coming from Troutdale. It is a single drop falls and is an easy walk from the parking area. There is a trail from here to the larger Multnomah falls which is about a mile down the highway. Worth a short stop. Hope this helps.

we loved this waterfall because you could get really close to the spray and get wet. The hike up was not bad.

How can you describe the smells, sounds and the incredible sight of these falls. If you are in the Northwest you really need to make a point of visiting all the falls along the Columbia River Gorge!

Our daughter just got married in front of these falls last Monday. The falls are beautiful and the picnic shelter is beautiful and was perfect for the wedding. It has a fire place inside which was good, because last weekend it was cold, but it was such a beautiful place.

If this is confusing, it's on the same trail loop as Multnomah falls which you can see reviews for. Any questions, be sure to go to the visitor center and have them answer your questions. They will highlight a printed map which is super helpful to keep on trail.

Husband and I arrived in the morning. Falls was wonderful. Small crowd, so morning is probably one of the better times to come here.

Had some time before our departing flight so we stopped. Very different than Multnomah Falls. Beautiful in its own way and worth a visit. Parking is limited so keep that in mind.
