This General Store in Troutdale is so full of stuff that it boggles the mind. Off on one side you have an old style counter and a few tables where you can have a meal. Ice Cream. And be surrounded with Americana retro items from the distant past. On the other side its a full blown shop of tourist items... More

Bought some items at this store 28 days ago. Tried to return unopened items and was told they couldn't do it, as there was a 15 day return policy. The return policy is not on the receipt and is written on a very small note at the cash register. I had no idea of this ridiculous policy or would have... More

The local bicycle group stopped here for coffee and cake (so it must be good). Lots of tourist trap gifts and the shop smelled of potpourri. I didn't find it interesting. Lots of other places to eat in the town without the smell of potpourri.

The store is packed with so much cute stuff, decorations, gifts, etc. it's hard to pick from. The food was very good and so was the service. Must visit and enjoy a home cooked meal!

This is my favorite place in downtown Troutdsle. I started taking my kids here in 2009 to buy old fashioned candy, eat breakfast, have an ice cream or shop. You can always find something cool here. We come here every summer before the Summerfest parade and grab some sodas and Moonpues. We just love the old fashioned feel of the... More

I had their specialty smoked chicken salad. Had too much mayonnaise and it overpowered the smokey flavor of the chicken. My husband had pulled pork and it was good but very very hot. You eat in a small section of the store downstairs with about 5 tables or upstairs. There are a few outside tables but it was too rainy.... More

We visit this place every chance we get, even when we lived there, or now that we just visit there. It is a fun store filled with cute little items, candy, cool souvenirs, clothes, and even a good deli with a great meatloaf sandwich.

I love this little place. It's cute and adorable and has many unique gifts. The entire atmosphere is just adorable. They also have beer, wine, lunch, and desserts available for eating. The food isn't bad, but it is average and not extraordinary in anyway. So if you want to stop in and get a coffee and cookies while walking through... More

While exploring Troutdale we came across this fantastic General Store that even has and old fashioned ice cream parlor. This store is filled with a lot of goodies & fun stuff for both kids and adults. If you want lunch they’ve got that too with daily specials and plenty of tables upstairs. Make sure you stop by and see for... More

I took our party of women, my sisters and mom, here as the beginning of our exploration of the Gorge. I knew we could do tons of outside things, but wanted to mix it up a little, so we stopped here, even though one of my sisters is not a shopper, at all. But this place is special, and one... More
