It's my Grandma's favoriate place to visit in Oregon, so we dropped by the place specifically on our way to Bandon. We got there at sunset, and the view couldn't have been more spectecular. The only pity is that there was no creature in the...More

Well signed from Hwy 101.We were here on a sunny, windy day at high tide so it was pretty spectacular. Going down the stairs I looked down at the black rocks to see little girls in pink flip flops standing way too close to the...More

If you plan to visit this area, plan to spent at least an hour just watch the waves and how to swirl and churn in the cove. Great weather.

This place allows you to get down right next to the power of the Pacific Ocean. The Marine Gardens are a great way to teach kids about the coastal ecosystem

This is a fascinating place to visit particularly when the wind is creating big waves and the tide is coming in. We love the thumping of the waves against the rock and the huge sprays coming over the edges. Just spectacular!

The turnout is worth the stop to take a look at the power of water as it hits the rocks. To get the full effect it is perfect at high tide as the waves come crashing against the rocks and what looks like a puff...More

I spent at least 30 minutes walking around the rocks viewing Devil's Churn from different areas, watching the waves roll in and break at different points. Watching the water splash into the rocks and the waves clash against one another was mesmerizing.

Stopped for a quick stroll down in the drizzling rain to see the water crashing against the rocky cove. Great blackberry picking too near the parking lot!

This is an interesting site but it is best viewed at high-tide as the water needs to surge more into this area to get the full effect. It is worth a stop to check it out.

As with other attractions along the coast, Devil's Churn is probably at its impressive best at high tide during a storm. We saw it on a quiet day in fog and were not impressed enough to hike down the trail to see it close up....More

There is a parking fee for the lots on site- but if you buy the parking pass from the ranger station, it is good for all park stops along the way.

Google Yachats tide conditions 2015. It's also worth noting that other weather conditions such as swell, storm etc will have an effect on your experience so watch the weather forecast for the area.
