Stunning coastline

The crashing waves, jagged coastline, lush forests, and plentiful state parks make this one of the best places to enjoy nature in the Pacific Northwest.

We always love driving along the coastline, and seeing the beauty and walking along the coastline! It is definitely a rugged coastline, but there are places that you have areas where you can walk that are not so rugged!

This is our favorite town along the Oregon Coast. It is small, has a few shops and restaurants, and just has a nice feel to it. The scenery around it, especially to the south, is beautiful and the rocky coastline is a great place to explore tidepools.

The Southern Oregon coastline is unique, offering rocky sections and some sandy beaches. Lots of pull-offs, good for whale watching -- we only say two puffs this trip!

A great place to visit the beach. Not a lot of local activities but it has amazing views of the Pacific Ocean. The coast line here is like no other.

Lots of pull offs and parking spots to access the coast to explore and photograph or just mesmerize yourself with some ocean meditation, Wonderfully rough and photogenic coastline..

Spent a weekend here recently and had a great time. Tons to see and do. Great little town with some great places to eat and stay. Plenty of rocky tide pools to explore.

The rocky shore produces magnificent wave action, best seen during a storm! There even can be whales at times.

We spent most of our time between Yachats and Florence......stunning scenery. We did a couple of the shorter trails around Cape Perpetua and a couple years ago camped in the campground - very nice campground. The trail from the visitor center to the top of Cape Perpetua is a couple miles but uphill. You won't be disappointed with the views.... More

The Yachats (Yaw-hots) area has miles of both beautiful beaches and ruugged coast to explore. But don't miss the eclectic shops and restaurants in town.
