It's a little out of the way gem. Very peaceful to walk around with plenty of spots to stop, sit, listen or just breathe. You can bring your dog, if well behaved and on a leash and they even provide doggie bags to pick up...More
This is a re-creation of something like stonehenge in England. Very peaceful and well behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. There is a suggested fee of 10$ to visit. A few stone circles and a stone chapel. Lots of hard work in developing the park....More
Heard about this from a friend and stopped on the way home from the Poconos one Sunday afternoon. You can plan on a good half an hour to an hour to walk around and enjoy yourself. Lots of different paths you can take. You can...More
Columcille is a beautiful, quiet place. The chapel and bell tower are definitely places you'll want to visit, and there are more amazing things to discover as you slowly meander along the winding paths. There are also plenty of places to just sit and meditate....More
Since this park celebrates and imitates the standing stones of Celtic lands, it feels like taking a trip to another country in another time. In fact, the place seems timeless and mesmerizing. Check out the chapel with its delightful echo.

The parking is outside the perimeter of the park close to the front gates. It's a small privately owned park, there is no real parking lot. Think of parking on someone's property outside their property. It's a wonderful place, serene with trails and some seating. Everything is wood or stone. You can see a video of the park on Youtube under the name Columcille Megalith Park (July 2009) by bendo13
